In the premises of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Pančevo, on May 20-21, 3rd workshop (second for trainees for CP consultants) was organized.
During theoretical part, prof. Dr Gordana Kokeza from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Belgrade, talked about economic evaluation of CP options. She introduced basic terms as net present value, internal rate of return, etc to trainees, so they can help companies to better economically evaluate their options.
Radmila Šerović, from the Ministry of Envoronment and Spatial Planning, presented the newest legislation regulating waste management.
Two certified UNIDO CP consultants, Maša Šašić and Snežana Lekić, who also participate in Pančevo project presented their experience in waste management with emphasis on hazaradous waste.
In second part of the workshop, trainees reviewed current status of the project in companies that were assigned to them. Overall, progress is satisfactory, but some companies failed to supply data and were not visited by international experts.
