On March 25, in the conference room of the Faculty of technology and Metallurgy, members of the the National UNIDO Chemical Leasing Network held second meeting.
International consultants from BiPRO, Germany, Dr Raab and Dr Joas shared with the audience international developments in the projects worldwide. Also, they informed network members about Global Chemical Leasing Award, where in the category "Case Studies" companies KNJAZ MILOŠ and ECOLAB HYGIENE, Serbia won silver medal, while Vojislavka Šatrić, national coordinator for Chemical Leasing, shared gold medal with colleague from India in the category "Public Relations".
Then Mrs.Šatrić spoke about activities in Serbia. She stressed that the business model is very successfull in the case of KNJAZ MILOŠ - ECOLAB, but that there are also promissing projects in the pipeline, such as: FKL Temerin - SAFECHEM Germany (chlorinated solvents for degreasing of metal parts), METALAC - GALFOS (chemical surface treatment). Mr. Ilić, the owner of the GALFOS (chemical provider) spoke about trials in METALAC and discussion about unit of payment.
This meeting came after 3-day visit to 5 companies by CPC staff and international experts. Especially challenging is potential project regarding use of pesticides, and experts shared with the audience experiences from the visit to one fruit producer in the village of Vinča.
