The CPC of Serbia, in cooperation with the Serbian Network for Energy Efficiency in Industry, organized on November 23-24, two-day course on thermal audit tool called EINSTEIN (Expert system for an INtelligent Supply of Thermal Energy in INdustry). EINSTEIN is a methodology that works out energy efficient solution for production process based on renewable energy sources. This will lead to a significant reduction company operating cost.
The 17 participants from industry (Imlek, Tigar, Knjaz Milos, Metalac), academia (Mechanical engineering, Technology) and the CPC learned how to use software package that was developed during European project coordinated by Joanneum Research, Graz, Austria, in order to assess optimization potential in companies.Trauning was performed by Dr Hans Schnitzer and his team, Dr Bettina.Muster-Slawitsch and Dr Christoph Brunner.
