From May 11-13, first five CP audits were performed by International CP experts Johannes Fresner (Austria, Stenum) and Mirko Lešnjak (Slovenia, Liveo), as well as by five trainees for national experts and CPC staff. Companies that have been visited are:
MAXIMA - Lučani (Architectural paint producer)
ZVEZDA - HELIOS - Gornji Milanovac (Paint producer)
CHEMICALS AGROSAVA - Šimanovci (Pesticides)
DES - Belgrade (Galvanization plant)
KNJAZ MILOŠ (Mineral water bottling company)
During the visit, experts got the information from companies history, present situation and plans for the future. Data from production and related processes were reviewed, then comprehensive CP audit was performed. CP teams from companies actively participated in the visits, so number of CP options were identified and discussed during wrap-up meetings.
Visit reports will be sent to companies in approximately two weeks.
Most of the observed areas for improvement were related to energy and water consumption. It is encouraging that in some companies some of CP options are in implementation phase.
Remaining six companies participating in the project will be audited in June.
