International experts from 7 NCPC's (Egypt, Mexico, Russia, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Colombia and Serbia),  UNIDO, as well from consulting firms and research institutes from Germany, Austria and Serbia met in Hotel NORCEV, at the top of the Fruška Gora mountain in northern Serbian province of Vojvodina.
During 3 days, 25 participants discussed present status of the Chemical Leasing project in their respective countries and the way forward.
On the 2nd and 3rd day, participants attended the training on Chemical Managment Services, with Jill Kaufmann Johnson (USA) from Chemical Strategies Partnership to learn about possible synergies between this approach and Chemical Leasing business model.
Participants also agreed about the statement on Chemical Leasing that will be presented at SAICM meeting in Geneva in June 2009.

Chemical Leasing is a service-oriented business model that shifts the focus from increasing sales volume of chemicals towards a value-added approach.
