Eleven companies signed cooperation agreement with the CPC

In the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the companies:

signed cooperation agreement with the Cleaner Production Centre of Serbia.

Dr. Stojan Jevtic, vice president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce said that the Chamber supports this project because by its preventive action contributes to decrease hidden costs and permits better sustainability and improves competitivness of Serbian companies.

Mr. Mladenovic from the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning reiterated support of this Ministry to the Centre and informed attendance that the Strategy for Cleaner Production Implementation has been adotped and published in the Official Gazette on March 13, 2009.

Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy of Belgrade, dr Popovic, stressed the importance of the spreading idea of cleaner production in concentric circles.

The Centre's director, dr Dunjic presented the results of the previous projects, and handed out UNIDO certificates to the fifteen new CP consultants.

At the end, representatives of the companies signed the agreement, and communicated their commitment to the success of the projects.
