From March 9-11, 2009, in the premises of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade, first workshop for future Cleaner production consultants was held.

Fifteen candidates for three days were trained, covering following subjects:

1. Introduction to cleaner production
2. Team, policy, motivation
3. Introduction to material balance
4. Introduction to energy management
5. Creativity, option finding
6. Green procurement and hazardous materials
7. Introduction to air regulation and monitoring in Serbia
8. Introduction to water management in Serbia

Training consisted of presentations and exercises. Representative of company HIPOL presented results of the CP project in their company.

Trainees will perform in-depth CP assessment in the companies that will sign the contract with the Centre  on March 20, 2009.
